For those of you who went gaga over the confetti eyelashes I bought at Spirit Halloween, I have a treat for you today – a DIY version of some fabulous and glamorous lashes! Perfect for jazzing up a Halloween costume or just simple a way to add a little color and/or sparkle to your everyday look.
*Just please be sure to glitter at your own risk — you def don’t want to get any small pieces in your eye so make sure any bits are secure if you’re going to actually wear them. You can also just choose to put these in a pretty shadow box for a lovely piece of wall art.
All you’re going to need is some false lashes, eyelash glue, and some glitter / small sequins / confetti dots. (And maybe a pair of tweezers / a jewel picker to help maneuver some of the small pieces) 
Add a strip of eyelash glue to the top of the lash band, and sprinkle on some glitter! Or place a row of small sequins across. Ta-da! It is seriously that simple. And you can go crazy with different colors and styles. 
Now how’s that for the easiest and most fabulous way to jazz up your day?
Beautiful idea, however the small glitter is actually really dangerous if it isn’t cosmetic glitter. Craft glitter has sharp edges that may not seem like a super big deal to your fingers, but can scratch your cornea if it gets in your eyes, which seems like a huge risk with them being on false lashes.
You can use cosmetic grade glitter, but anything in your eye isn’t good! Just be sure to use plenty of glue and tap off all of the excess so it’s all secure. And as always, only glitter at your own risk 😉
