About This Website
Q: Where am I?
A: You’re at The Confetti Bar aka Confetti Land aka a place for creative dreamers to call home aka a really cool place to hang and find inspiration for living your best life. Welcome. 🙂
Q: Ok, but still, what is it exactly?
A: More officially, The Confetti Bar is a lifestyle brand and artistic confetti studio encouraging you to discover your unique version of happiness in all its beautiful, messy pieces. Our mission is to create confetti that starts conversations about mental health. Our purpose is to inspire you to make (& embrace) beautiful messes. Our vision is to share an incredible amount of hope in this world, one little piece of happiness at a time.
The Confetti Bar is a (virtual) place for us to chat, connect, and celebrate as we each pursue our own version of what it means to be happy.
Because when we take the time to surround ourselves with good things (both in and out of our bodies), believe in being the best versions of ourselves, and foster creative energy, magical things happen.
Q: Wait, I thought you made actual confetti…?
A: We did. We do. We probably always will, in some form or another. You can still get some confetti goodness in the shop, but this space is about something much bigger now. It’s different, but still the same philosophy: make (& embrace) beautiful messes. Now it’s just…more. From day one I (Jessica) said this business was about the feeling & symbolism of confetti more than the physical product.
Q: So, do I belong here?
A: Short answer: yes. Chances are if you landed in this little part of the interwebs, it was for a reason. But you’ll probably absolutely definitely want to stick around if you:
- Need a safe space to connect with like-minded people
- Desire to be healthy and happy, always
- Dream endlessly
- Feed off creative energy
- Are multi-passionate and prefer not to be put into one box. (Or any box at all, for that matter)
- Always try and look for the good
- Obsess over color
- Believe in art and its ability to communicate and heal
- Require quiet time to reflect, recharge, and breathe because you can get overwhelmed easily
- Prefer to use online media to create real, offline relationships
- Find yourself tired of “the hustle”
- Crave meaningful conversation
- Wholeheartedly pursue the harmony of purpose, passion, and prosperity
- Feel #allthefeelings
- Think #allthethoughts
- Try to trust your gut (literally and figuratively)
- Recognize that being highly sensitive is a super power
- Love confetti
- Celebrate the little things (and the big things)
- Can accept that things change
- Think kindness matters most
Q: Who runs this place?
A: Hi! I’m Jessica aka JSH — confetti artist, feelings feeler, writer of thoughts, lover of love, and all around mess maker. My job here is to curate a safe space, facilitate inspirational moments, and create magical things. I want to make you think deeper. Laugh louder. See brighter. Live happier.
Also, my other half, Clifford aka CPH, has a major hand in keeping all the digital and technical magic running around these parts. He also makes sure I’m ok. Everyone needs a person like that, and he’s definitely my person. You should get to know him, too. He’s pretty amazing, my obvious bias aside.
You can learn more here.
But enough about me & us. I want to know about you. Yes, for real. Drop me a line and tell me about yourself — who you are, what you do, what brought you here, what you need, what you’re looking for, what makes you smile. All the things. (It might take me a few days to get back to you, but I promise I read and respond to all my own emails! I just want to make sure I give each one the attention it deserves. ♥︎)
Q: Why confetti?
A: Because life is hard and messy, but it is also beautiful. There are pressures and stressors and both bad and sad things can happen (yes, even here in Confetti Land it’s not always sunshine and rainbows!), but that’s why it’s even more important to really take the time to celebrate even the smallest of moments — because there are still so many amazing and wonderful things to be grateful for. In this space, confetti represents all the hope we should collectively aim to spread in this world, literally one little bit of happiness at a time.
Q: Alright, I’m picking up what you’re putting down. How can I be sure not to miss a beat?
A: Be sure to sign up for email updates, as this is the most direct, effective way for us to stay in touch — and don’t worry, I promise they are short, sweet, and to the point! Plus consider following along with the adventures on social:
