How To Make Colorful, Confetti Gift Tags:
You Will Need…
- clear badge holders*
- #theconfettibar confetti (the best kind 😉 )
- paint markers/stickers/punch tape (I used this label maker*!) /glitter or any assortment of embellishments you prefer
- ribbon
- scissors
All you need to do is decorate the clear badge holder with the phrase, message, name, or design you’d like to personalize on your gift tag, fill it up with #theconfettibar confetti, and tie on a ribbon. It really is that simple!
Pro Tip: Want to write something but don’t have the best handwriting? Print a template for yourself (that will fit the holder’s size), slip inside, then trace with a paint marker. Once dry, remove the template and voila!
Just loop your ribbon through the top slit of the badge holder — not only does it give you a spot to tie the ribbon to, but it will also keep your gift tag closed. Win-win! Get creative when coordinating different kinds of ribbon and/or yarn!
Pro Tip: You can also always seal the top of the badge holder with a bit of glue or tape if you want to seal it shut.
If you choose to seal your tag shut it will ensure that the confetti never falls out (which is great to reuse the same tag, or repurpose it for a keepsake), but if you only tie it shut with a ribbon, it also gives your recipient the option to remove the confetti inside…this can either be tossed or added to happy mail or sprinkled on a table. The ribbon alone will hold the confetti inside pretty well (depending on how much you stuff it), but still allow you to access the confetti later if needed.
